Central Animal Hospital is proud to be an active member of our community. We are one of five local clinics that rotate on-call duties for the Coulee Region Humane Society and our local animal control. All three of our veterinarians serve either on committees for the Coulee Region Humane Society or the Board of Directors.
Each year we help sponsor events in the La Crosse area including Bark in the Park, Family Fest, the Laff Olympics at Oktoberfest, and the Cause for Paws annual banquet.
We are proud to provide veterinary services for all eight canine officers of the Wisconsin State Patrol, Czak of the Onalaska Police Department, Winston of the Campbell Police Department, Ori of the Holmen Police Department, and Jager of the Tomah Police Department. Central Animal Hospital also donated a Kevlar Combo Stab-Ballistic Vest to Czak of the Onalaska Police Department and Ori of the Holmen Police Department.
We are also active members of our veterinary community. Dr. Kim Kratt is a Past President of the Coulee Region Veterinary Medical Association and Dr. Doug Kratt is a Past President of the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Kimberly Kratt serves as the Distrcit 7 representative to the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association, and she serves on the CVTEA (Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities) for the American Veterinary Medical Association, which is the accrediting body for Veterinary Technician programs in the nation. Dr. Douglas Kratt has recently joined the AVMA House of Delegates as an Alternate Delegate, and serves on the AVMA Future Leaders Program. Both Drs. Kratt are Past Presidents of the Coulee Region Veterinary Medical Association, and Dr. Douglas Kratt has the distinction of being a Past President of the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Sarah Young serves on the Board of Directors of the Coulee Region Humane Society and is the immediate Past President of the Coulee Region Veterinary Medical Association.
